Anne Heche’s agonizing rescue required more than 60 firefighters

Actress Anne Heche is in serious condition after crashing her car into a house and causing a fire. Several sources report that she almost 60 fire fighters were needed to get her out of the vehicle before she ended up burned.

As the hours go by, more details are revealed and it seems that Heche was awake at the time of the accident and was even able to speak with one of the firefighters who were there. The captain of the Los Angeles Fire Department, Erik Scott, has confirmed that “She was talking to us at the time we were able to get her out of it.”

Firefighters needed a tow truck to get her out of her car, which was completely charred. Anne was battling the scorching heat for more than 30 minutes before emergency services arrived.

“Anne is in the ICU, she is lucky to be alive. She has severe burns and a long recovery ahead of her. Her team and family are still trying to process what led up to the accident,” a source close to the actress told CNN.

At the moment she is hospitalized in a center near the accident site, her ex, thomas janesaid that she “hope she recovers.”

The 53-year-old actress suffered two accidents on the same day, the first of which was against a garage in an apartment complex during the middle of the day. Several passers-by had tried to approach her to help her, but the actress left the scene as soon as she had the chance, she continued driving and crashed a second time into a house at high speed causing a strong fire.
