This MTN Science and Technology Scholarship is normally opens to 300 level students studying in Science and Technology Courses and or related field in Nigerian public higher institutions. This scholarship is offers only 300 level students in public tertiary institutions such includes State and Federal Universities, State and Federal Polytechnics and or State and Federal Colleges of education.
MTN and STS (MTN Science and Technology Scholarship) is invited an applications from interested and suitable 300 Level Students studying in public tertiary institutions from Science and Technology Courses. Eligible student Will be awarded with the sum of N200,000 – N300,000 per each session that is annually.
The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) and MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) support talented Nigerian students in public universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. Eligible students can receive financial assistance for their education. Notably, the MTN SBS has expanded its reach, increasing the number of scholarship recipients from 60 to 100 beginning in 2024

MTN Scholarship Application Requirements
- Prospective students studying in Nigeria public tertiary institutions (Universities, Polytechnics and or colleges of education) must have CGPA of at least Lower Credit for Polytechnics Students while University and College students must have obtained a minimum of Second Class upper division which is equivalent to 3.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
- Students Who secured admission as Direct Entry level students must have at least CGPA of 3.0 (second upper credit) from their Ordinary National Diploma (OND) programmes and must have gained admission into 300 level in Nigeria Public University.
- Blind Students studying in Public Universities, and or public Colleges of education must have attain at least 2.5 CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average)
- Blind Students studying in Public Polytechnics must have attain at least 2.0 of CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) from ND/OND Programmes.
- Blind Students must have gained admission into HND (Higher National Diploma) Programmes
